Unlike Garan, I find my intern to be less than acceptable. Stephen, I think, yes, that's his name, is timid. Unsure of himself, and he's taken to hiding in the supply closet, hiding from me really. Its a bit sad to be honest. My attending said I need to work on my bedside manner, and how I connect with my intern. Let the record show, my attending didn't try and bond with me, and constantly pushed me to be the best. I do believe that's made me a better healer.
My horrid sister Tamsin is pregnant. And we're throwing her a baby shower. Which I am in charge of again. I was the one who threw her engagement shower. Then her wedding shower. Now her baby shower. Why on earth would someone think I of all people want to be in charge of such a thing? It's ridiculous. But she is my sister, and I'll of course be there to support her best I can.
This is my easy night, I only have paperwork, and a few medical journals to look over. I will be enjoying them in the bath. I bought a little shelf you can use to read on when you're in the tub. How luxurious.
